Step 1 – Type

A centuries-old technique, Parquetry Timber Flooring has been used to create stunning and hard wearing floors everywhere from churches and important buildings to sports arenas, homes and hotel lobbies. In modern years, Parquetry has come to be synonymous with intricate feature designs and creative craftsmanship.

Block Parquetry Timber Flooring is created by using bigger blocks of timber. It is extremely effective when laid with contrasting coloured timber to create patterns, designs. There are many popular patterns available, but you may like to let your imagination run wild and create your own individual design.

Parquetry is precision milled and designed to be glued down over a solid, flat sub floor. It can be installed over concrete, plywood or particle board substrate and after sanding finished with a range of coatings.
